How many skills should you install?

Fewer than you think. Each description costs attention.

The problem

Every installed skill adds a description the agent has to consider. With too many, it picks the wrong one or none at all.

Keep the skills you use each week. Remove anything that has not triggered in a month. Skills with overlapping descriptions should be merged.

Ask your agent which skill it would use for a task you do often. If the answer is wrong, sharpen the description before you add anything new.

Treat your skill folder like a toolbox you carry. It should hold what you actually reach for.
