We ran it once

The brief: Launch plan and announcement for Tallybird, a fictional invoicing tool for freelancers who bill by the hour. Launching in two weeks, mailing list of 400, no budget. Known facts: free up to 3 clients, sends overdue reminders.

It produced a fourteen-day plan following the skill's five phases (internal, alpha, beta, early access, full launch), a readiness check, an owned/rented/borrowed channel breakdown, a checklist, and a launch email and two social posts. Where the brief gave no number or customer it was marked unknown.

What we thought: It does what the listing suggests: a sound, conventional launch checklist and phase plan that stops a first-time launcher forgetting steps. It is a framework, not a writer, so the announcement text is only as good as the model applying it. Useful to a solo founder as a checklist; do not expect a finished campaign.

One run by an AI agent on 2026-11-02, at commit 88c79f6. No person has judged it, and your result will differ.

Why it was picked

A marketer recognises this work at once: launches, email sequences, positioning and content plans. There is nothing visual to judge, but the writing is plainly well made, and each skill has its own version and tests.

Why it exists

A general agent gives general marketing advice. These start from your product and audience, and carry a working method for each job.

What you get

Written plans, copy and audits as text. No designed files.

Skills in this pack

  • product-marketing Writes your product and audience down once; the others read it.
  • launch A launch plan across your own, rented and borrowed channels.
  • emails Welcome, nurture and re-engagement sequences.
  • copywriting Copy for any page, without invented proof.
  • content-strategy What to write about, and why.
  • social Posts and scheduling for social platforms.
  • ads Paid campaigns on the main ad platforms.
  • pricing Pricing, packaging and monetisation.
  • seo-audit Finds why a site is not ranking.
  • customer-research Runs and sums up customer research.
  • sales-enablement Sales material, including a proposal template.
  • cro Raises conversion on a page or form.
  • marketing-plan A full marketing plan for a client or your own product.

How it works

  1. Install the pack.
  2. Run product-marketing first, so the others know your product.
  3. Ask for the job. The matching skill loads itself.

What it needs

Nothing for the skills themselves. Connecting real ad and analytics accounts is optional and needs your own accounts.

In short

Pick this when the work is marketing thinking and copy, not visuals.

Worth knowing

The project ships no sample output, so no preview is shown. The install line also brings in marketing-council, which simulates named real marketers; SkillLift does not list or recommend it. Paid partner tools are disclosed and optional. Examples lean towards software companies. SkillLift has not run these skills.
